Your Good Life is designed and created by seniors. It is the only, or one of the few, blogs for seniors that is free of advertising and is limited to quality literary content.

Your Good Life is a blog, defined as a regularly updated website. A web site is a location accessed on the world wide web. Your Good Life (YGL) has been in development for 18 months. It is a non-profit run by a volunteer board of Marquette residents with assistance from a small paid professional staff. YGL is found on your computer at the web address: www.yourgoodlife.org

The site offers a “Weekly” feature with one or more new messages about lifestyle, stories, health, tech issues, and hobbies and travel. These messages can be read in minutes but thought about for as long as you want. The site is available free. Subscribers will be notified each week with a link to the latest “Weekly” feature sent to your web address. All stories are available to be seen any time. Visitors to the site are invited to submit their own stories for publication on the site.

Other features of Your Good Life are Poets’ Corner, Recollections including memoirs and journaling, and an online book club. Each of these offers an opportunity to participate in whatever way that best serves you. You will be guided in writing your own memoir, you can join and participate in a book club from your own home, start journaling, or create your own poetry with the chance that it will be published.

Your Good Life originated through the efforts of a small group of seniors. It is offered free as a resource to be used individually or embraced by all senior communities. YGL creates an atmosphere where ideas can flourish, and quality of life can grow. We hope that you will join us and in time consider contributing.
